Skinβs Story?
Climate is changing - addressing the issue of how human health is being affected due to the unexpected changes in the climate, day or night. It is crucial to understand and be aware of how does our body and especially skin react to these extreme conditions in the nature.
The impact of climate change on the skin is an important topic that warrants attention due to the potential health implications. With the increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events due to climate change, understanding how the skin responds to these conditions is essential for maintaining skin health and well-being.
American Medical Association (AMA) has issued a new policy that recognizes climate change as a public health emergency.
Cancer is increasingly anticipated, with projections estimating over 35 million new cases by 2050.
Climate change (CC) is already having an influence on the world, with rising COβ levels, higher temperatures, and changing precipitation patterns all contributing to threats such as droughts, fires, air pollution, sea-level rise, coastal floods, ocean acidification, storms, and ecological disturbances.
Climate change influences human-environment interactions, which have important implications for human health, including an increased risk of diseases such as cancer.

Features
Skin Trajectory
Skin trajectory, being a crucial feature, provides an in-depth understanding of how the skin has been progressing while exposed to different weather conditions.
User Personas
User Journey
Integration with iOS apps
The superpowers of these apps go beyond user demographics and delves deeper.
Allergen Tracking
Incorporating allergen tracking into the model becomes a natural extension, given its direct correlation with weather data.
Design - Final Screens
Skinβs Health is one of the main pages that shows all the generic personalized screens, including all the other three features that collectively make this app dynamic. The landing page for Skinβs Health shows data about weather conditions at your current location, including humidity levels, indoor humidity, and your skin health status.
Your Feed
A generic overview of your feed is visible once the app is opened. Having a skin log calendar will give an insight into the weather conditions predicted. The feed provides insights like the number of photos taken in certain conditions, or photos imported with filters on them and how healthy your skin is without any potential skin risks. These insights would be helpful for the user to have a holistic view of their skin stories.
Your skinβs health
Skinβs Health is one of the main pages that shows all the generic personalized screens, including all the other three features that collectively make this app dynamic. It shows data about weather conditions at your current location, including humidity levels, indoor humidity, and your skin health status.
Allergen Tracking
The feature focuses on tracking allergens in your surroundings based on your location identifier. The user receives detailed data on the allergens' existence, along with an overview of the symptoms associated with exposure to the allergens and protective skin measures.
Weather Conditions
This function is crucial because it is Skin Story's objective to track weather conditions that affect your skin's health. This allows the user to predict their future actions and make informed decisions before they leave the house, considering the weather forecast and how it will affect their skin.
Skinβs Story
You will generate your skin story using the image of your choice. With only one tap, you can take your own selfie and analyze the health of your skin, making it an intriguing approach.
Skin Trajectory
A crucial feature that allows users to study and understand the progression of their own skin stories is the ability to track their skin based on levels of exposure to weather conditions such as cold and sunny.
Skin Analysis
After scanning the user's imported image, the user will receive detailed statistics about their skin, including factors such as hydration, dryness, and pigmentation. To help individuals comprehend the differences and relevance of each component, specific colors are chosen. After providing all the information about the skin, the user will have a general awareness of how their skin appears after being exposed to specific weather conditions, such as extreme cold.
Skin Calendar
A calendar widget is also accessible to the user, at it provides all the previous skin stories and highlights the days when images of certain weather conditions, like sunny and cold conditions, were scanned.
iOS Integration: Apple Watch
The application is more than simply a story generator; it also serves as a personalized skin health guide, notifying the user if there are severe weather conditions that could compromise human skin health or cause any sort of inconvenience to the skin.
When the user wears the wearable device, it will track real-time data about the weather conditions to which the user is exposed using all the smart technologies included in the iWatch.
Obtaining real-time data can be useful not only in studying the skin, but also in developing and tracking certain skin exposure patterns and the user's development over the course of a month or two.
Proposing an interface for a wearable device for instant facial skin analysis, aiding in protection and study amidst unpredictable climates, would be remarkable.
