We have been learning the alphabet since we were kids. Interacting with them in any manner hasn't been boring at all. Starting from the basics and developing thoughtful ideas is what this project is all about.
26 Alphabets and 1 City
Semester 3, Graphic Practices and Narratives, Visual and Experience Design
What is it?
A graphic installation that provides you with information about the city and it's unusual spots to explore is really something that asks us to distract from Google Maps.
Why?
We usually try to indulge ourselves on our phones while we wait for someone or something. Berlin, already has these amazing boards on bus stops, and the content they share is just wow! Understanding human behavior, we often tend to attract things that keep us engaged or are unusual. Similarly, this project helps you with mainstream and unusual information at the same time on these boards.
Concept
Categorizing the data by 12 Districts of Berlin -Pankow, Kreuzberg, Charlottenberg, Mitte, Lichtenberg. Tempelhof-Schöneberg,Neukolln, Treptow - Köpenick. The spots that are offered and shown on the screen is categorised by the district for eg: Charlottenburg, Kreuzberg
Design
An interactive board on Berlin bus stops that allows you to navigate to certain spots all over Berlin. A censor that is installed on the board to help navigate the information offered.

Interactive Board Design Idea for the District Kruezburg
How is it helpful?
People who come to Berlin often want something that is unique and memorable. Creating interactive and memorable experiences for such people with the help of the tourism department would be highly efficient. This will not only enhance the experience but also send a message to smartly use billboards.
